"New Moon" Random Musings - Let's Do This!

Okay, so I saw "New Moon" this weekend with @buhbeesgirl  , bringing my theater count to 5.  Is that a fair amount for a Twi-Hard such as myself?  Who knows?  It probably should be more.  But hey.  I've got a life to lead you know.


Since @buhbeesgirl and I had "mostly" the whole theater to ourselves, we were able to provide our own commentary.  "Cheeseburgers!"  (Yeah, we said it)

(Like I said "mostly" to ourselves.  Sorry, people behind us.  But it serves you right for waiting a month and a half to see this.  Christ!  What the hell were you waiting for???)

So here, finally, are just some of my thoughts on our treasured cinematic masterpiece.


I guess, the most apparent thing would be the "hugeness" of most things.


We all know and love to quote this:

(well maybe she didn't say it exactly like that)

They're not scones!   They are MUFFINS!  They are like HUGE Muffins!

You travelled all the way to Montepulciano from somewhere in 

Butt Fuck America to be in the climax.  

The most momentous part of the movie!

...and you couldn't bother to find a red shirt that covers your inflated gut?

They're NOT Italians.  They're Americans!  They're like HUGE American Tourists!

"Movie night with Bella."  The Monumental Action movie within a movie that is:

"It's like pequw peqew, punching faces!"

A thrill a minute!
